Description:
The elements of telecommunications such as telephones, computers and control systems are being increasingly linked to the same cabling infrastructure. Thus, whatever applications, facilities use the same cable and share a common network.
Identical cables can be used for different applications, identifying and numbering each of them becomes necessary. It is obviously important that this work of identification meets the requirements of the standards related to communication networks. It is also relevant to develop a management book collecting information related to network configuration and technical specifications of cables. To make network management more complex, there is software to effectively compile information related to the network. These applications facilitate the documentation tasks that can sometimes be difficult and require painstaking accuracy.
These tasks provide better organization and better network management. Thus, in order to easily manage a network structured cabling hosting several applications, it is important to document the contract management and compliance with standards to identify and clearly numbered cables.
